The Respirex FrontAir 1.5 Hood is an Air-fed hood designed for use in atmospheres where particulate contamination maybe a hazard.
The hood is designed for use with breathable air supplied from an external compressed air source providing positive pressure. The quality of air flowing into the garment must be of a breathing air quality.
The hood has been tested for CO2 content of inhalation air, inward leakage and noise levels to the requirements of EN14594 |
Product Features
- An air dissipation system completely contained within the hood thatprovides breathing air to the user together with a separate, reusable waist belt. The maximum flow level is 320 litres per minute
- 360° swiveling airline system with an adjustable waist belt and hose restraint
- A lightweight, soft, comfortable elasticated neck seal thatis designed to allow the removal of a contaminated hood without touching the inner surfaces
- 2 exhalation valves with red PVC covers
- Underarm ties for close fit
- A clear visor with vertical and horizontal fields of vision

Important Notes
The material from which the hood is constructed has been developed to meet the requirements of EN1149-1:1996 and has an anti-static treatment applied. Regardless of the anti-static properties of any hood materials, it is the responsibility of the end-user to ensure thattheir working practices achieve dissipation of any static charges which may build up on the hood during use |
